Before sales or promotions businesses raised the prices of their products so they could then announce bigger discounts. To put an end to this unfair practice the new rules now establish that a store can only advertise sales and promotions if the price of the products covered is the lowest in the last consecutive days immediately preceding the sales season. No sales can be made on new products only promotions The new rules that came into force in May also establish that it is prohibited to sell sales on products purchased for this Phone Number List purpose. This means that products purchased and received in the store for the first time during the sales period or in the month prior to that same period cannot suffer price reductions . Still they can be part of promotions. Sales do not have defined dates but have a limit of days Since the law has not defined periods for carrying out sales giving businesses the freedom to choose the dates on which they intend to carry out price reductions. However the new rules now establish that stores will only be able to carry out sales for a total of days per year consecutive or interpolated.
